Lectures and seminars PHSP seminar: Public health, vaccination and ethics
The Doctoral Programme in Public Health Science (PHSP) welcomes all doctoral students and researchers at KI to our seminar. In this seminar we will discuss different ethical dilemmas related with vaccine testing and distribution related to the recent covid19 pandemic.
Three different areas related to vaccination and the ethical dilemmas will be discussed from a theoretical ethical approach:
- Should vaccine trials receive priority from ERB and on what grounds?
- Who to prioritize and why? Local and global perspectives.
- Should vaccination be voluntary or mandatory?
The seminar is part of PHSP's seminar series with the theme public health research ethic.
