Dr. Driskell has made ground-breaking contributions to our knowledge in skin and fibroblast biology. After being trained as a Cell and Developmental Biologists (John Engelhardt lab, Iowa), he established a functional fibroblast lineage hierarchy in skin development and wound repair (Fiona Watt lab, London) and is now heading the Fibroblast and Skin Regeneration Laboratory at the Washington State University. The Driskell lab utilizes novel animal models in conjunction with molecular, computational, and histological techniques to create an understanding for achieving human skin regeneration (https://labs.wsu.edu/driskell/ and https://skinregeneration.org/).
