This lecture is about how sexism and sexual harassment can be understood in a larger system of economic relations. Based on research on the #metoo movement in the art world, academia and journalism, the connection between sexist and racist oppression and unclear working conditions is demonstrated.
Karin Hansson is Associate Professor of Media Technology at Södertörn University, and the project manager for a research project about #MeToo in Sweden.
She is also one of the editors of the newly published book Maktordningar och Motstånd. Forskarperspektiv på #Metoo I Sverige.
