Lectures and seminars MEB seminar: The National Cancer Register

The one-hour presentation will have a wide scope and is intended for those of you that would like to learn more about the National Cancer Register and cancer register data. 

The presentation will build on three topics: 

• The National Cancer Register: about the National Board of Health and Welfare, regulation, content, statistics and usage of the register
• Cancer registration: from diagnosis to registration in the register
• Completeness of the register: estimated by a register-based trace-back of cancer noted on death certificates.
