All are most welcome to join this MEB seminar presented by Associate Professor Brigid Lynch.

Brigid is a Principal Fellow in the Cancer Epidemiology Division at Cancer Council Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, and also holds honorary positions as Principal Fellow in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne, and Research Fellow in the Physical Activity Laboratory at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute.

Brigid is a cancer epidemiologist whose work focuses on how physical activity and sedentary behaviour are associated with cancer risk (in particular breast cancer), biological mechanisms underlying risk, and health outcomes for cancer survivors. Her team is currently focused on applying causal inference methods to epidemiological studies of physical activity and sedentary behaviour, and implementing behaviour change trials in clinical (cancer) populations.
