Prof. Gestur Vidarsson will give an invited talk entitled "Modulation of IgG effector functions by Fc glycosylation" on 12th Sep at 16:00, at Biomedicum A0812. Welcome!

Since 2022, Gestur Vidarsson is a professor of immunoglobulin biotherapeutics at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utrecht University. His research interest is on the role of the neonatal IgG Fc Receptor on endothelial-, epithelial-, transfectants, and immune cells, and to study the working mechanisms of immunoglobulins to Rhesus D in anti-D immunoprophylaxis, in particular with regard to Fc receptors on responses to RhD in alloimmunization.
