Welcome to a lunch seminar presented by Anna Dreber Almenberg titled "Which scientific results can we trust? Evidence from replication studies and prediction markets". Bring your lunch along!

Join our lunch seminar and discuss with us:

  • Why are there so many false results in the published scientific literature? And what is the actual share of results that do not replicate in different literatures?
  • What do prediction markets add to the understanding of the reproducibility of science?
  • What can we do to increase the reliability of scientific results?

Anna Dreber Almenberg is the Johan Björkman professor of economics at the Stockholm School of Economics. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on variation in economic preferences between and within individuals and on the reproducibility of scientific results.

Her research has been published in Nature, Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences as well as top economics and psychology journals. Anna is also a member of the Young Academy of Sweden.
