Welcome to a Lunch & Learn Seminar with Seddon Thomas, PhD, Staff Scientist, R&D Protein & Cell Analysis, Thermo Fisher Scientific.

From Dye Overlap to Deep Profiling – Get Practical Solution Today!

High dimensional full spectrum flow cytometry grants access to previously unattainable parameter cellular immunology by increasing the number of detectors. While flow cytometry enhances our understanding of immunological diversity, panel design significantly impacts this research. It is critically important to understand how the interplay of multiple antibody fluorophore combinations, cellular autofluorescence, electronic noise and available detectors can affect resolution of cellular populations. In this seminar, we take a deep dive into a human immunophenotyping panel and explore issues related to panel design and cellular resolution when expanding our immunological view in terms of cellular co-expression, dye similarity and number of markers incorporated into a single panel. Seddon will showcase pre-designed ready to go 30+ color immunophenotyping panel designed spectral Instrument.

Learning Objectives:

•Explore high-dimensional full spectrum flow cytometry.

•Understand key factors in panel design for better cell resolution.

•Learn tips for optimizing markers and managing dye overlap.

•Understand the issues with dye similarities/how to use similar dyes in spectral panels.

•See a ready-to-use 30+ color immunophenotyping panel in action.
