The Swedish Covid-19 pandemic and its management has been much discussed in Sweden and internationally. Did the pandemic behave differently in Sweden than elsewhere? Did the Swedish authorities behave differently than elsewhere? And was Sweden worse hit by the pandemic than other countries? What were the lessons learned for the future from the pandemic experience - in Sweden and globally?

These and related questions are discussed in a chapter on Sweden in a new book on the pandemic to be published later this year by Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. In this LIME talk we will present the key content of the chapter and bring some possible conclusions to the table for discussion.

The project coordinator from Halifax, Professor Katherine Fierlback, will act as initial discussant of the paper after which we hope for a lively discussion in the audience.

Presenter: Birger Forsberg, Docent, GPH, KI
