Jakob Torgander is a PhD student in statistics at Uppsala University. In this workshop, Jakob will provide a practical introduction to Bayesian modelling using the popular probabilistic programming language Stan.

- Foundations of Bayesian modelling
- Getting started with Stan
- Guidance on adapting Stan to research-specific needs
- Basic principles of Bayesian model diagnostics
Participants are encouraged to bring their own computer, data, and research problems for discussion and practical application during the workshop.
