Research articles are commonly accessed through scientific databases that actively select which journals they cover, that is which journals they index. Publishing in a journal that is indexed by the main scientific databases is a good way to make sure that your article is visible and accessible. JIF, or journal impact factor, can also be helpful in assessing the influence of a certain journal. In this hands-on workshop we will guide you through how to check the indexing and impact factor.
