Open Science has the potential to change and open up the scientific system to everyone. To involve society and its citizens in research helps to maximise the impact and added-value of both national and European funded research. But how do you engage and collaborate with citizens in your research project? What are the drivers, benefits and challenges?

Karolinska Institutet University Library (KIB) and the non-profit organisation Vetenskap & Allmänhet (Public & Science) now invite researchers and staff to an online workshop about Citizen Science.

To involve society and its citizens in research helps to maximise the impact and added-value of both national and European funded research. But how do you engage and collaborate with “citizens” in your own research project? What are the drivers, benefits and challenges? This workshop will give you some answers on these questions.

This workshop will be held in English, but the organisers also speak Swedish. Last day to register is December 7, 2020. A KI-ID is required.
