This KIB Talk shows why we need clear, honest visuals and how this accelerates understanding and impact – on both the lab bench and the news site. Drawing on Matthias Stahl's path from academia (as a former Post Doc. researcher at KI) to the German news outlet DER SPIEGEL, we'll explore how to tailor graphics to different audiences, communicate uncertainty without eroding trust, and use reader feedback to refine designs. You'll eventually get a glimpse into SPIEGEL's visual newsroom.

KIB Talks – Visualisation Wednesdays!

During the semester, KIB offers a series of KIB Talks open to all doctoral students, researchers and other employees at KI. The subjects varies and we add new topics regularly. For nine Wednesdays leading up to Christmas, we will be focusing extra on visualisation from different perspectives! See the calendar for times and registration. We are also happy to organise a KIB Talk (a workshop or a presentation "on demand") specially for your department or other.  Please let us know what you're interested in!
