The third lecture in our Distinguished Lecture series is presented by Guido Kroemer, M.D., Ph.D. PU-PH. Kroemer is, among other, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Paris Descartes, Director of the research team "Metabolism, Cancer and Immunity" of the French Medical Research Council (INSERM) and Director of the Metabolomics and Cell Biology platforms of the Gustave Roussy Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Lecture: "Autophagy as an ageing decelerator"

Short talk introduction by KI South researcher Federico Pietrocola, PI and assistant professor at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition: “Cellular responses to stress in health and disease”

The lecture will be followed by an afternoon reception in the Neo entrance hall with possibility to interact and ask questions as long as everyone follows any Covid-19 restrictions. A small group will after that be allowed to talk to Prof. Kroemer under the leadership of Federico Pietrocola.

This lecture series will be IRL only. No registration needed.
