Why do suicide rates continue to climb despite our best efforts? Why aren't we better at this? What are we doing wrong? Professor Craig J Bryan's lecture is a critical examination of what we think we know about suicide, with particular focus on the assumed role of mental illness.

Welcome to the third Karolinska Suicide Seminar on January 25th 3 pm CET with Craig J Bryan, a clinical psychologist and the Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (STAR) Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. His book “Rethinking Suicide” presents an alternative perspective on suicide prevention that contradicts traditional assumptions. The talk will be moderated by Christian Rück, Professor, Centre for psychiatry, Karolinska Institutet.
