9:00 - 9:10. Grants Office - Carolina Kristell
Grants Office provides support for KI internal research funding and pre-award support for external funding. Grants office also organises training on internal processes for larger applications and coordination of agreements.
9:10 - 9:20. Impact Support - Charlotta Lindquist
Every one of us can make a difference and together we can improve society and human health. Impact includes social, environmental, cultural or economic benefits from academic research and knowledge.
9.20 - 9:30. Core facilities for research - Sylvie Le Guyader
Karolinska Institutet offers a wide range of core facilities, providing service, recourses and competence to academic research in Sweden. These core facilities were all founded to meet the needs of the university’s own scientists, and they are under constant development to provide the latest techniques and knowledge within their fields of expertise. Karolinska Institutet is also a major partner in several national research infrastructures.

The University Library provides support throughout the academic life cycle, from first-year students to senior researchers. On the University Library's website, you can find all the resources and tools that the library offers for research, work or study at KI. KIB is a public library open to everyone.
9:40 - 9:50. Karolinska Institutet Innovation System - Patrik Blomquist
Karolinska Institutet has developed an unique system for innovation support with agents and organisations that in various ways can support the development of ideas and results.
9:50 - 10:00. KI Postdoc Association - Kai-Yuan Cheng
The KI Postdoc Association (KIPA) is a member-driven organisation, which was founded in 2012 to give the postdoctoral community at KI a voice, a supportive network and representation. Our aim is to work closely with KI leadership and administration to achieve the best possible working conditions for KI postdocs, thereby making KI a more attractive place for postdoctoral training in the future.
10:00 - 10:10. Stockholm Dual Career Network - Sophia Wallin
Stockholm Dual Career Network (SDCN) offers career development and social networking to expat partners in Stockholm. SDCN supports its members to settle in Stockholm, search for jobs in the Swedish market, explore the Swedish culture, and broaden their social and professional networks. SDCN welcomes partners of employees of the network’s affiliated organizations.

10:20 - 10:30. Karolinska Institutet Career Service - Ana Oliveira and Vladimir Pabón-Martínez
Karolinska Institutet Career Service works to educate and advise students, PhD students, postdocs and researchers for a future career inside and outside academia. We organize a doctoral course and a financed internship program for PhD students and postdocs. We offer extensive seminars, workshops, lectures and online support.
