Internal meeting Introduction to new co-workers: meet and greet event

24-11-2022 9:30 am - 10:30 am Add to iCal
Ragnar Granit, Biomedicum, Solna

This event is exclusively for those who are new co-workers at KI.

We are very pleased to present Associate Professor Hugo Zeberg as a speaker. He will talk about the gene flow from Neanderthals to modern humans - a topic that is featured prominently in this year's Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

Hugo and his laboratory team are studying the gene flow from Neandertals and Denisovans into modern humans. He will talk about the genetic variability among humans and the genetic predisposition to infectious diseases, such as COVID-19. For half an hour Hugo will inspire us. If there is time left, you are welcome to ask questions.

You will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from the unions, the Doctoral Student Section (DSA), Junior Faculty, Leadership and Career Planning, Equal Opportunities Sustainable Development and Health Care at KI.

Coffee and cinnamon buns will be served.
