Lectures and seminars Gender equity, diversity and equal opportunity in teaching
We invite teachers and other interested staff from all disciplines to come together and discuss how questions related to gender equity, diversity, and equal opportunities are being approached and integrated in the curriculum at the three Stockholm Trio universities.
The task of working with gender equity, diversity, and equal opportunities in higher education is based on both legislation and scientific research. Although it may feel like a well-established demand, the organizational conditions are diverse, and there are no simple solutions that fit everyone and every program.
During the workshop we will explore the meaning of gender equity, diversity and equal opportunities in different institutional contexts and will focus on strategies for inclusion of equal opportunities at both course and program level.
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from one another and explore resources and tools available at different universities. What do we mean by working with a gender equity, diversity and equal opportunity perspective in teaching and how can this be done?
