Zoom meeting

The Flemingsberg ATMP network invites you to participate in a ZOOM seminar based on current and future activities in Sweden around NK cell based ATMPs

Karolinska Institutet is world recognized for their expertise in NK cells. KI researchers not only discovered this type of cell in the mid-70s, but have pioneered studies in NK cell recognition of tumor cells. KI is currently pioneering research and product development in the context of NK cell-based immunotherapy products.

In this seminar, you will hear from the Vinnova/Karolinska Institutet/industrial Partner funded Competence Centre NextGenNK, located at KI Flemingsberg, aimed at developing novel NK cell-based therapies for cancer.

You will also hear from the new CEO of CellProtect, Johan Living, who will present the company's new strategy for ensuring that their technology reaches potential impact.

Finally, we will hear from Nicole Marquardt working on defining tissue-resident NK cells for possible solid tumor or non-cancer roles for NK cell-based cancer immunotherapies.

We welcome you to login to our ZOOM session and eat your lunch with us to hear about these NK cell-related activities that are under way in Sweden. The presentations will be about 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion as well as a bio-break before the next speaker.
