Lectures and seminars CTMR Bug Corner: Linn Fagerberg (KTH) - "Next generation blood proteome profiling using proximity extension assay in the Human Protein Atlas"

27-04-2023 9:00 am - 10:00 am Add to iCal
Campus Solna Via Zoom or A0812 (if have access to Biomedicum)

Linn Fagerberg is a researcher from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).

Linn's research is focused on precision medicine and integrative multi-omics where large-scale biological data is analyzed using advanced bioinformatic methods.

This talk will cover an effort to study the longitudinal effects of lifestyle variation in healthy and disease cohorts based on personalized omics profiles, as well as profiling of the blood proteome in extremely premature children to obtain a deeper understanding of the preterm infant. Linn will also present her current effort to expand the omics-based profiling across a wide range of diseases based on well-characterized cohorts, with the aim to characterize molecular fingerprints and allow stratification of patients to pave the way for future precision medicine efforts.
