Dr. Enrique Joffré serves as a Researcher at MTC, Karolinska, and the Institute of Chemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Gothenburg. His research primarily revolves around unraveling the mechanisms behind the spread, virulence, and adaptation of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in the intestinal and urinary tracts. Additionally, he holds a keen interest in tracing pandemic clones of pathogenic E. coli across the interfaces of human, animal, and environment, employing a One Health approach.
