Welcome to a Crossing borders seminar with Professor Professor Aman Russom, head of the division of Nanobiotechnology, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology at 10:00 in room D1012.

Title

"Microfluidics for Point-of-Care cellular and molecular Diagnostics"

Presenter

Professor Aman Russom, Nanobiotechnology, Royal Institute of Technology KTH & AIMES, Karolinska Institutet

We are happy to welcome Professor Aman Russom, head of the division of Nanobiotechnology, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research is focused on microfluidics by applying engineering principles and technologies, especially micro-and nanotechnology, to biomedical related problems of scientific and humanitarian interest. One of the most promising applications for microfluidic and lab-on-chip systems is in point of care (POC) blood analysis. Russom will discuss microfluidics for biomedical applications with focus on cellular and molecular point of care blood diagnostics

Host

Agneta Richter-Dahlfors, Karolinska Institutet, Department of Neuroscience

Crossing borders is a seminar series focusing on interdisciplinary sciences, organised in collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
