All MedH staff are invited to this talk with Ann-Sofie Forsmark, leadership consultant and health strategist with a BA in Economics as well as health psychology-studies at Karolinska Institutet.

In this talk you will be given insights, focus areas and tools to improve conditions for engagement through the Sense of Coherence model (Känsla Av SAMmanhang på svenska.) It combines a genuine salutogenic approach with strength based mindset to increasing a sense of meaningfulness, comprehensibility and manageability to work. Factors which we know from research are needed to be sustainably engaged at work.

Being engaged at work is both important for our personal wellbeing but equally important for a successful and thriving workplace. Studies show clearly how disengagement both have imact on our health, our ability to develop our organisation but also have financial impact on the organisation.

How do we create the conditions which promotes engagement and wellbeing at work? As employees? As a team? As a leader?

What are the positive impacts of high engagement? And what are the costs when we lack it?
