Welcome!

"Comorbidity index and survival"

with Hatef Darabi, Sr. Biostatistician PhD at the Public Health Agency of Sweden.

With an ageing population, the likelihood of living longer with a medical history increases. Multiple methods have been developed to measure the impact of comorbidities by classifying the severity of disease conditions. In this talk, we will briefly discuss about two such measures, namely the Charlson Comorbidity Index and the Rx-Risk score, with some examples from the literature assessing their impact on survival.

The seminars will be held in the building Neo in Flemingsberg, but also on Zoom. Before the seminar, a limited number of sandwiches and drinks will be served on a “First come – first served” basis starting at 12:00.

Show up early and network!
