Conferences and symposiums Conference: Social sustainability - or die

The Center for Social Sustainability (CSS) is celebrating its 10th Anniversary and organises a conference inspired by five keywords: empathy, compassion, trust, wisdom and altruism.
We are welcoming you to join us and reflect on the current state of the world, as our societies face a series of crises, and discuss what steps are currently needed. Please save the date!
The SARS-Covid-19 pandemic left both societal and individual imprints on our responsibilities to reduce its contagion. The invasion in Ukraine highlights the importance of sustainable connections and global trust. The energy crisis and inflation remind us to address inequalities and polarised leadership. The climate and biodiversity loss crises makes us realise how dependent we are on one another in taking care of our vulnerable environment. In all these life-threatening situations, we face challenges as well as possibilities to build a more sustainable world. Or fail.
To open up for new insights and co-creative actions, we will enrich the learning environment during the conference with music, dance and narratives from colleagues and friends from near and far.
