Centre for bioinformatics and biostatistics (CBB) presents a bioinformatics workshop with Sofiene Laarif.

Title: Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) Modeling: Methods, Applications & Insights

Speaker: Sofiene Laarif, Pharmaco.

About the workshop

Join us for an engaging 90-minute seminar exploring the key techniques in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling and their applications in drug development and clinical research. This session will introduce:  non-parametric modeling, a data-driven approach without predefined assumptions. parametric modeling, which provides structured models for precise predictions. nonlinear mixed-effects modeling (popPK/PD), essential for analyzing variability in drug response across populations. and physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling, which integrates physiological and anatomical data for mechanistic predictions.    Designed for researchers of all backgrounds, this seminar will highlight the strengths, limitations, and practical applications of each method, providing insights into selecting the right approach for your studies. Whether you're new to PK/PD modeling or looking to expand your expertise, this session will offer a clear and practical overview of these essential techniques.

Last day to register is 22 September.

Coffee and pastry will be served.
