In a shifting geopolitical landscape, this webinar arranged by CASI, will explore the emerging concept of science diplomacy, its role in addressing global challenges, and how universities can foster international academic collaboration.

In a changing geopolitical context, science diplomacy is increasingly being discussed. Also, collaboration between science and diplomacy is required to solve global challenges such as climate change, food security, poverty alleviation and nuclear disarmament. Although the concept of science diplomacy is relatively new, related activities are not. But what is science diplomacy? What role should universities play? And how can it support international academic collaboration? This webinar will present concepts of science diplomacy, discuss the role of universities and how these activities can promote international academic cooperation.
