Preparing for a career outside of academia you will need to master the skills and techniques for speaking effectively to audiences like your colleagues, customers and managers. This is a critical enabling skill that complements and amplifies your technical expertise, allowing you to influence the people around you. In this one-hour virtual seminar we explore how you can achieve this by borrowing ideas from TED speakers and screenwriters, learning how to craft an impactful and memorable presentation quickly and with less effort. At the end of the session there will be a chance to ask any questions you have about speaking and influencing.

The seminar will be held in English, for students only (BSc, MSc and PhD).
