Thinking to make a job transition? Preparing to apply for jobs or internships?
Join us in this webinar where the focus will be placed on identifying skills and how these can be applied in jobs, including outside academia. Participants will also receive tips on how to define a strategy for skill development, and understand the importance of knowing values and receive feedback.

KI Career service, in collaboration with Chaperone
Chaperone (www.chaperone.online) is an online platform created to help scientists potentiate their careers. On this platform, students and young professionals can browse and book online 1-to-1 sessions with over 30 experienced career consultants (career specialists, advisors, counselors and coaches) on over 50 different support topics. In addition to online 1-to-1 sessions, Chaperone also provides online group training in the format of workshops or webinars. Chaperone has already supported scientists from over 20 countries, and from prestigious institutions such as EMBL, Barcelona Institute of Technology, CERN, Umea University, Imperial College and more, with an excellent average user rating of 4.9 (out of 5).
About the Speakers
Rob was a postdoctoral researcher in mammalian genetics. Currently, he is the Head of Research and Innovation Talent at the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council in the UK. He has responsibilities for investing grants into Ph.D. training, fellowships, and other career development initiatives. He is also a Career Consultant at Chaperone. Finally, he also volunteers with various groups, including the Samaritans.
