About the Speaker:

Elisa Floriddia, PhD, Associate Editor at Nature Communications.

Elisa joined Nature Communications in October, 2019. She received her PhD in cellular and molecular neuroscience from the University of Tuebingen, where she studied the mechanisms of neuroregeneration and repair. As a postdoctoral researcher at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Disease (DZNE) and at the Karolinska Institute, Elisa worked on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, neurodevelopment, and the molecular and functional heterogeneity of glial cell populations. Elisa handles manuscripts in stem cell and glial biology, neurodevelopment, and neuroregeneration and repair.
