This workshop will focus on equipping participants with the essential skills needed to transition from academia to professional sectors.
Participants will learn to understand commercial settings, and develop viable business models. Key areas include enhancing technical and soft skills, mastering the job search and recruitment process, and adopting a mindset focused on innovation and patient outcomes. The workshop also emphasizes the development of leadership abilities necessary for navigating and excelling in profit-driven environments.
Goals
These workshops, delivered through two half-days, will provide participants with essential skills for: business, entrepreneurial endeavours, career development and leadership. By focusing on applied research, regulatory knowledge, commercialization, and specialized networking, our goal is to develop their leadership capabilities and equip attendees with the tools and confidence needed to thrive in profit-driven environments while maintaining their commitment to value-based healthcare and ethical principles.
