Speaker: Elizabeth Margulis, Director, Music Cognition Lab Princeton University U.S.A
Hosts: Gunnar Bjursell and John Sennett

Description
Music can evoke a range of imaginings from autobiographical memories to fictional scenes, responses that have often been considered in separate streams of research. But given the amount of imagining involved in remembering, and the amount of remembering involved in imagining, considering the different varieties of musical daydream within a single framework can yield new insight. This talk presents a new set of methods and approaches for asking how music cues daydreams, and why they matter.
