Welcome to BFC Flow Cytometry User Group Meeting: ”Mapping the Immune Cell Surface: Insights into Protein Abundance, Polarization and Co-localization using Molecular Pixelation” with Dr Hanna van Ooijen, Immunology Application Scientist, Pixelgen Technologies.

Speaker

Dr Hanna van Ooijen, Immunology Application Scientist, Pixelgen Technologies

Molecular Pixelation (MPX) is a novel sequencing-based method for high-throughput spatial proteomics on single cells. By creating 3D maps of the cell surface proteins, MPX enables highly multiplexed quantification of protein abundance, distribution, and co-localization on thousands of individual cells simultaneously.

In this seminar, we will demonstrate how MPX can be applied to finegrain cell phenotyping, or discover cancer-specific signatures, ultimately advancing our understanding of immune cell processes like cell signaling and cancer development.
