Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Sweden and the Centre for Health Crises at Karolinska Institutet (KI), invite you to this free hybrid seminar on anesthesia in disasters and conflict zones on November 20th 2024

With limited access to drugs and equipment and in deficient health care systems, specific knowledge is necessary to apply medical knowledge into clinical practice. This event highlights such difficulties and provides tools to practice anesthesia and critical care in a medically safe and ethical way in resource limited contexts.

Efficient anesthesia and intensive trauma care is crucial to alleviating pain and suffering for patients. But how do we utilise effective treatment options and diagnostic tools with limited resources? Join us in learning more about this and MSF protocols in low resource settings with experts within the field.

This event is held in conjunction with the course Anesthesia and critical care with limited resources, which is offered by Karolinska Institutet Centre for Health Crises and MSF Sweden with support from Familjen Kamprads Stiftelse.
