Lectures and seminars Andrology day 2024
Through the adoption of the European policy framework for health and well-being, known as Health 2020, and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, countries have made commitments to enhance health and well-being for all, diminish disparities, and promote gender equality.
Member States within the WHO European Region reaffirmed this dedication in 2016 by endorsing the Strategy on Women’s Health and Wellbeing.
In furtherance of Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 5, the Strategy on the Health and Well-being of Men was introduced during the 68th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe in September 2018.
In order to underscore the importance of this topic, the Swedish Society of Andrology, in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet, Karolinska University Hospital, and the European Academy of Andrology, will host a halfday meeting on September 4 , 2024, at Aula Medica, Karolinska Institutet. The agenda will encompass various aspects pertaining to male health, including topics such as testosterone deficiency, the long-term effects of childhood cancer treatment in men, reproductive health, and male contraception.
This programme is tailored for public engagement and will feature presentations delivered in both Swedish and English. Speakers will represent diverse regions across Sweden, as well as Finland and the USA.
Participation is completely free of charge.
We look forward to seeing you there!
