Lectures and seminars An AIEd Unconference: More talk, more action
How can AI transform education and help us create the learning of the future? Welcome to All Talk, More Action: An AIEd Unconference – a participant-driven event on AI and pedagogy, organized by Karolinska Institutet in collaboration with Berghs School of Communication. Here you set the agenda and get the opportunity to network, share ideas, and shape the future of education with a focus on AI.
AI is poised to revolutionize how we learn, teach, and drive development work in education. But it's not just about the technology – it's about creating new practices, work methods, and using the technology in ways that enhance our abilities. These are precisely the questions we will explore together at our unconference.
We welcome:
- Teachers who want to explore new possibilities for teaching with AI.
- Educational developers seeking new perspectives in pedagogy.
- Students who want to influence the development of their education.
- Course administrators who want to develop new methods
- Curious minds passionate about learning and AI.
You don’t need to be employed by or affiliated with KI or Berghs to take part—everyone is most welcome, as long as you bring enthusiasm, a willingness to discuss and create together, and a desire to try something new.
The unconference format skips the long lectures and PowerPoint marathons. Here, participants take center stage, set the agenda, and collaboratively develop ideas on how AI can be used to enhance pedagogy. The format is developed in collaboration with Berghs School of Communication, which has extensive experience with AI unconferences.
"The unconference format is not just an exciting way to explore AI in education, it is also a fantastic opportunity to make new connections and build networks with like-minded individuals," says Andrew Maunder from the Unit for Teaching and Learning.
What can you expect?
Engaging conversations that you steer, a creative environment where ideas are shared and tested, and plenty of opportunities to network across disciplines and backgrounds. It’s all about talking, creating, and learning together. By participating, you get the chance to influence how AI is used in education, share your experiences and insights, and build networks that can strengthen the future of learning. Together, we shape the future – with both heart and mind.
When and where?
