On May 10 we continue our Alumni Lecture Series to inspire a community that encourages health, science, knowledge and collaboration. An opportunity for alumni, students and researchers alike to learn, interact and network.
Stefan Sjödin is an ST doctor in anesthesia and intensive care at University Hospital of Umeå. He wrote a noticed blog, "Traumarapporter", with thousands of daily views during his three month practice at the trauma unit at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto, South Africa. The trauma unit in Soweto receives many hundreds of knife- and gun shot wounded every month. During this lecure, Stefan will share his insights of trauma care in one of the world's most violent countries and hectic trauma units.
