Stockholm Medical Image Laboratory and Education (SMILE) organises an AI Workshop for the 3 days 22nd - 23rd -27th October 2020 in association with NVIDIA, Mathworks and SNIC.

Workshop Part 1 : NVIDIA Agenda (22nd - 23rd -27th October 2020, 10:00 to 14:00 SE time through Zoom)

 

Day 1 – Thursday 22nd (10AM-1:45PM, Stockholm time) - Event in collaboration with NVIDIA 

Welcome - Introduction to KI SMILE Core Facility - GPU Computing Services

Introduction to Nvidia (Instructors: @Craig Rhodes)

Introduction to Nvidia Healthcare Technologies (GPU, DGX, NGC, RAPIDS)@Nicola Rieke

Medical Imaging – Clara  (Instructors: @Nicola Rieke, @Zenodia Charpy)

 

Day 2 – Friday 23 (10AM-1PM, Stockholm time) - Event in collaboration with NVIDIA 

Introduction to CUDA programming (Instructors: @Mike Vella, @Jonny Hancox)

 

Day 3 – Tuesday 27 (10AM-1PM, Stockholm time) - Event in collaboration with NVIDIA and SNIC

Introduction to using GPUs for Genomics (Instructions: @Mike Vella, @Myrieme Demouth)

NVIDIA Event - End- SNIC and KI SMILE computing services ad. outro

 

This will consist of presentations and live demos, and we will share content with you (notebooks etc) which they can do on their own GPU-enabled systems and reach out to us with questions.

 

 

Workshop Part 2 : Mathworks - Matlab -Preliminary- Agenda (27th October 2020, 13:30 to 16:30 SE time, through Zoom)

 

Day 3 – Tuesday 27 (1:30PM-04:30PM, Stockholm time) - Event in collaboration with Mathworks and SNIC

Welcome - SNIC and KI SMILE computing services ad. Both Facilities are equipped with NVIDIA-GPUs.

Introduction to AI - overview of the different AI terminologies along with the various MathWorks tools that support ML+DL workflow.

Demo 1 - Age classification based on DL on MRI brain scans

Demo 2 - Semantic segmentation of brain tumor
