Conferences and symposiums 2nd symposium on “Protein Misfolding in Human Proteinopathies”
The CIMED network “Protein Assembly and Biological Drugs” at Karolinska Institutet Campus South, the “Stockholm Proteostasis network” and the Uppsala-Stockholm-Linköping “Amyloid” network invite all researchers interested in the fields of protein misfolding and neurodegeneration to the 2nd symposium on “Protein Misfolding in Human Proteinopathies”.
This symposium is a continuation of the inaugural event held in May 2024, which welcomed around 100 registered participants. Since then, the three involved networks have jointly organized a monthly seminar series, providing a platform for both junior and senior scientist to present and discuss their on-going work.
The aim of this symposium is to foster in-person scientific exchange and strengthen collaborations among in the Stockholm-Uppsala region in the field of protein misfolding. It also seeks to promote translation from basic research to the clinic.
The scientific program will feature keynote lectures by distinguished external speakers, alongside presentations from early-career and established researchers affiliated with the three networks. The event will conclude with a panel discussion.
