We are excited to open the application process for the third KIPRIME Fellows Initiative, planned for August 2023.

This unique initiative, co-financed by the Gunnar Höglund and Anna-Stina Malmborg Foundation and Karolinska Institutet, aims to nourish the next generation of Karolinska Institutet Prize for Research in Medical Education winners by offering an inspirational curriculum of mentoring and development activities for stellar, midcareer medical education researchers. Each year, two persons from Karolinska Institutet may join the programme.

The third KIPRIME Fellows will be held at Karolinska Institutet, August 20-23, 2023. Full participation is required, including evening activities. The programme is led by previous KIPRIME awardees, professors Lorelei Lingard, Brian Hodges and David Irby.

Applicants from KI

To be eligible to apply you need to be employed or affiliated with Karolinska Institutet, have a PhD (any area) and ongoing research (including scientific publications) within the field of Medical Education. Applicants from KI should be highly promising talents within medical education and have a profile that could be heightened through nurturing and networking.

During the programme, the selected fellows will be working on describing their programme of research in Medical Education and their future plans whilst being offered support, advice and mentorship from the group and leaders. Participating in the Fellowship programme is a unique opportunity to build a network with world leading researchers in the field.

Please submit your application December 15, to Jonas.Nordquist@ki.se.

Your application should consist of three parts: a letter in which you express how your participation would be of benefit to not only to yourself but to also the development of the Medical Education research field at KI, a CV, and a recommendation letter from the chair of your department.

The selected participants will be notified by February 1 2023.
