Agreement on 29 MSEK to SIA project signed
The agreements for the SIA project (Social Inequalities in Aging, Health, Care and Institutional Reforms in the Nordic Welfare Model) is now signed.
Thereby the project receives over 29 MSEK in NordForsk grants. The money will be used in investigating issues relating to the aging population, what influences and enables healthy aging, welfare systems in the Nordic countries and social inequality in aging. Johan Fritzell, Professor at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society (NVS) is coordinating the project, which is a collaboration between several Nordic countries.
