24,4 million SEK from the Swedish Cancer Society to MEB researchers

Congratulations to nine researchers at MEB who received project grants and/or fellowship grants from the Swedish Cancer Society - Cancerfonden.

The projects are funded for the years 2022–2024. The following persons were awarded: 

  • Hans-Olov Adami, professor emeritus
    Title: Cancer risk following organ transplantation
    Funding granted: 2 400 000 SEK 
  • Mark Clements, senior lecturer
    Title: Cost-effectiveness of prostate cancer testing and cervical cancer screening
    Funding granted: 3 750 000 SEK
  • Martin Eklund, senior lecturer
    Title: Improved prostate cancer prognostication and treatment selection using artificial intelligence and genomic profiling
    Funding granted: 3 750 000 SEK
  • Marike Gabrielsson, senior research specialist
    Title: Biological markers for prediction of therapy response by tamoxifen
    Funding granted: 2 400 000 SEK
  • Henrik Grönberg, professor
    Title: Pro-Bio: an outcome-adaptive and randomized multi-arm biomarker driven study in patients with advanced prostate cancer

  • Sara Hägg, researcher
