Sir Paul Nurse
Former President of the Royal Society is now Chief Executive and Director of the Francis Crick Institute, He was awarded the 2001 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine along with Leland Hartwell and Tim Hunt for their discoveries of protein molecules that control the division of cells in the cell cycle.
Paul Nurse visits Sweden at the release of the Swedish translation of his seminal book What Is Life? Five Great Ideas in Biology (2020), now published in Swedish by Volante Publishing House (Vad är liv? Biologins hemligheter i fem kapitel, 2021).
