Emma started on June 16 and is located with the Labmed Local Professional Services on floor 8 in ANA Futura.

Where did you work before you came to KI?

Most recently, I worked as a consultant and administrator for Statens Fastighetsverk for a period of 3 months. Before that, I was working within Business Administration for the City of Stockholm project "The Royal Seaport" (Norra Djurgårdsstaden).

Why did you choose to work in economics?

From the beginning, I wanted to work within HR since I come from a family of economists and engineers. But when I started my studies at the university, I studied both HR and Business administration and felt that both were fun. As I got my first job after my studies, it was within Business administration and finance, and felt that it suited me quite well and I have therefore continued with it.

What are you most looking forward to with your new job at Labmed?

I look forward to learning more about the higher educational sector and research sector, as well as be working within an international environment and with co-workers who contribute to a better health.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Besides hanging out with friends and family, I enjoy spending time with my two Burmese cats and also enjoy knitting and crochet.
