Time to apply for doctoral courses
The course catalogue for the spring semester of 2021 is open for application until 16 November. As before, postdocs are also welcome to apply, and will be accepted if space is available.
Remember to update your profile if there have been any changes since the last time you applied for courses.
Important information when applying for doctoral courses
The automatic e-mail confirmation from KIWAS (the course catalogue) when admitting to courses has been turned off in order to avoid overloading the system. The e-mail confirmation of the submitted application will remain.
For you as an applicant, this means:
- Application is made via the course catalogue (KIWAS). A confirmation of submitted application is sent from a noreply-address. We urge all applicants to also check under My courses that the application has been registered.
- The admission email will be sent by e-mail directly from the course provider with the supervisor certificate as an attachment (please check your spam folder).
- You reply to an admission offer, just like before, both via the course catalogue (KIWAS – My courses) and by returning a scanned copy of the signed supervisor certificate, no later than the specified response date. If signing the supervisor certificate is not possible due to the Covid19 pandemic, please use electronic signing via EduSign or attach a confirming email from the supervisor.
If you experience any technical problem when applying for courses, please report this to firstname.lastname@example.org or 08-524 822 22.
