Lectures and seminars Workshop with Professor Lorelei Lingard
How to write your medical education research so people will want to read it. Welcome to a workshop with Professor Lorelei Lingard!
Do research manuscripts have to be dry, abstract, elaborate and jargon-filled? Definitively, not! But they sure tend to be.
In this writing workshop you will learn new strategies for writing compelling and clear manuscripts. We will focus on two core lessons:
- setting up the Problem/Gap/Hook of your work in the Introduction,
- and developing the ‘so-what’ in the Discussion.
Brief grammar pearls will also be shared to help you to maximize sentence craft and paragraph coherence. You will leave more confident and enthusiastic about that paper that’s languishing on your desktop.
Place: Biomedicum 2, Solnavägen 9, Solna.
Time: Tuesday the 26th of November from 9 to 11.45 am.
Please sign up for the seminar as soon as possible or at the latest the 18th of November 2019 by sending an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org. The places will be limited.
