Brain imaging experiments generate large and complex datasets. A consensus on how to organise, process, and share data has been lacking. The Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) is a community-based standard for data and metadata from brain imaging.

The BIDS format has spawned an ecosystem encompassing data sharing and apps for validation, processing, and analysis.

This webinar will present the BIDS standard, extensions for different imaging modalities, and give examples of BIDS apps and workflows. There will be a presentation of 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A session for 40 minutes.

The webinar is organised by Gustav Nilsonne, Swedish National Data Service (SND) domain specialist for medical research and associate professor of neuroscience at KI.

This webinar will be held in English.
