In this third seminar in the series we will go through what Digital Health Literacy is and why it is important.

Title

"Digital Health Literacy"

In the first part of the seminar, we will go through what Digital Health Literacy is and why it is important. We will hear about how Digital Health Literacy can be measured, and get some example of Digital Health Literacy research. In the second part of the seminar, information will be given about what Digital Health Literacy instrument (eHEALS) is available in Sweden and how this has been validated and used.

Speakers

  • Diane Levin-Zamir, Professor at the University of Haifa, School of Public Health, Israel, serves in leadership positions, both in the IUHPE Global Working Group on Health Literacy and the International Health Literacy Association, she is advisor to the WHO on Behavioural and Cultural Insights and Principal Investigator for the M-POHL HLS19 National Health Literacy Survey in Israel. Research focus: cultural appropriateness in health promotion, media/digital and population health literacy..
  • Josefin Wångdahl, affiliated to the Divsion of Aging Research Center/NVS/KI. Josefin is also acting seminar leader.
