About the Speakers

Lovisa Case is a management consultant with McKinsey & Co, based out of Stockholm and focusing on supporting clients on corporate strategy within venture capital and the life science industry. Lovisa obtained a PhD in neuroscience from Karolinska Institutet (2016) after which she has worked in the pharmaceutical industry; project management at Uppsala BIO and corporate development at Orexo AB, prior to joining McKinsey in 2021. In 2021 Lovisa completed an Executive MBA at Stockholm School of Economics for which she was awarded a scholarship by Dagens Industri.

Zach Chia is a management consultant with McKinsey & Co based out of Stockholm and he has concentrated his efforts on supporting clients on strategy topics in private equity, healthcare, and life science industries. A neuroscientist by training, Zach obtained his Ph.D. from Karolinska Institutet in 2020. Prior to joining McKinsey, he was a postdoctoral scientist at the Department of Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet and had delivered invited seminars at the University of Oxford, US National Institute for Drug Abuse, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Zach was selected as a Leader of Tomorrow at the 48th St Gallen Symposium, Switzerland in 2018.
