- Human autoantibodies neutralizing type I interferons

The 2025 Nicholson Lecture will be held by Professor Jean-Laurent Casanova, MD. PhD. Levy Family Professor
Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Senior Attending Physician at the Rockefeller University.
Professor Casanova explores how rare and common gene mutations impair immunity in otherwise healthy individuals, making them vulnerable to specific life-threatening infections. By identifying these genetic disruptions, he uncovers the underlying mechanisms that drive severe infectious diseases.
